Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Cyber Secure Nigeria 2026 Conference ("the Conference"), organised by the Cyber Security Experts Association of Nigeria (CSEAN). By registering for promising to attend, or attending the Conference, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not register for or attend the Conference.

2. Registration and Tickets

2.1 Eligibility

Registration is open to cyber security professionals, stakeholders, and interested individuals. You must be at least 18 years old to attend, unless accompanied by a guardian or with prior written consent from CSEAN.

2.2 Ticket Transfer and Resale

Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly approved by CSEAN in writing. Resale of tickets for profit is strictly prohibited and will result in cancellation of the ticket without refund.

2.3 Refunds

All ticket sales are final. Refunds may be issued only in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of CSEAN or if the event is cancelled by the organisers.

3. Code of Conduct

CSEAN is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.

Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.

Expected behaviour includes:

• Treating all participants with respect and consideration.
• Respecting the rules and policies of the conference venue.
• Refraining from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behaviour and speech.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the Conference, the Conference content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Conference are owned by CSEAN or the Conference sponsors or speakers presenting at the Conference.

You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks or other trade names appearing at the Conference, in any Conference content or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the Conference for any reason without the prior written permission of CSEAN.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.

6. Liability

CSEAN shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property at the Conference. CSEAN does not guarantee that the Conference will be free from errors or interruptions.

Views expressed by speakers are their own. CSEAN cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to delegates.

7. Force Majeure

CSEAN shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.

9. Media and Photography

By attending the conference, you acknowledge that photographs and video footage may be taken of you. These may be used for marketing and promotional purposes by CSEAN. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify the organisers at the registration desk.
